Creating an Account

VibeMap offers multiple ways to sign up. You can create an account in under a minute and start generating your first project spec immediately.

Sign Up Options

You can create a VibeMap account using any of the following methods:

  • Email and password -- Enter your email address and choose a password
  • Google -- Sign in with your Google account for one-click access
  • GitHub -- Sign in with your GitHub account, useful if you're a developer

All three methods create the same type of account with full access to VibeMap's features. You can link additional sign-in methods later from your account settings.

Signing Up with Email

  1. Navigate to the VibeMap login page
  2. Click Sign Up to switch to the registration form
  3. Enter your email address and choose a password
  4. Click Create Account
  5. Check your inbox for a confirmation email and click the verification link
  6. You'll be redirected to the dashboard, ready to go

Signing Up with Google

  1. Navigate to the VibeMap login page
  2. Click the Continue with Google button
  3. Select your Google account or sign in to Google if prompted
  4. Authorize VibeMap to access your basic profile information
  5. You'll be redirected to the dashboard automatically

No email verification is required when using Google sign-in.

Signing Up with GitHub

  1. Navigate to the VibeMap login page
  2. Click the Continue with GitHub button
  3. Sign in to GitHub if prompted
  4. Authorize the VibeMap application
  5. You'll be redirected to the dashboard automatically

No email verification is required when using GitHub sign-in.

After Sign Up

Once your account is created, you'll land on the VibeMap dashboard. Here's what you'll see:

  • Projects list -- Initially empty, this is where all your project specs will appear
  • New Project button -- Start creating your first project right away
  • Navigation sidebar -- Access your projects, account settings, and billing
  • Usage summary -- See your current plan and remaining generations

Your Account Includes

New accounts start with access to the following:

  • A free tier with a limited number of AI generations
  • Full access to all generation types (personas, features, user stories, schemas, etc.)
  • The conversational AI agent for project refinement
  • Export capabilities for your generated specifications

Managing Your Account

You can update your account settings at any time:

  • Profile -- Change your display name and email
  • Authentication -- Link or unlink Google and GitHub sign-in methods
  • Billing -- View your current plan, upgrade, or manage your subscription
  • Usage -- Track your generation usage across projects

Access these settings through the navigation sidebar or the account menu in the top-right corner of the dashboard.

Troubleshooting

Didn't receive a verification email?

  • Check your spam or junk folder
  • Make sure you entered the correct email address
  • Click "Resend verification email" on the login page
  • If the issue persists, contact support

Can't sign in with Google or GitHub?

  • Make sure you're using the same account you registered with
  • Clear your browser cookies and try again
  • Try using email/password as a fallback, then link your social account in settings
